What you will do

  • Lead and perform functional safety activities across vehicle and platform projects according to ISO 26262.
  • Develop, maintain, and defend the Safety Case ensuring traceability from safety goals to verification.
  • Perform verification and technical reviews of safety work products and concepts.
  • Drive ASIL decomposition strategies and support safety release milestones.
  • Lead System Safety Joint Reviews with suppliers and challenge safety argumentation.
  • Contribute to functional safety planning, governance, and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Must have immediate, ongoing, and valid authorization to work full-time in Sweden.
  • Fully fluent English required.
  • 5+ years of hands-on functional safety experience in automotive, including ISO 26262 activities.
  • Strong experience in safety case development and safety analyses (HARA, FSC, TSC, FTA, FMEA).
  • Solid understanding of modern electrical/electronic architectures and software-intensive systems.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering or equivalent.

Nice to have

  • Experience as safety lead in vehicle/platform programs.
  • Knowledge of ISO 21448 (SOTIF) and cybersecurity interaction.
  • Experience with ADAS/AD, electrified platforms, or cross-regional development (EU-China).
