What you will do
- Work on customer technical projects, including designing and building reference architectures and creating how-to's.
- Scope professional services work with engagement managers, incorporating customer input.
- Guide strategic customers implementing transformational big data projects and 3rd party migrations.
- Consult on architecture and design; implement customer projects for successful Databricks adoption.
- Provide escalated support for customer operational issues.
- Collaborate with the Databricks technical team, Project Manager, Architect, and Customer team to meet customer needs.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics.
- Comfortable writing code in either Python or Scala.
- Working knowledge of two or more common Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
- Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Spark™ and knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
- Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
- Working knowledge of MLOps.
