What you will do

  • Lead process improvement and operational optimisation initiatives ensuring efficiency and risk alignment.
  • Deliver improvement projects with measurable outcomes and sustained adoption.
  • Build continuous improvement capability and support change adoption across teams.
  • Oversee analytics, insights, and portfolio reporting to underpin business decision-making.
  • Partner with leaders and teams to identify issues and co-design solutions.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor optimisation specialists.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in Hamilton, New Zealand and work onsite.
  • 10+ years in business improvement, operations, or process optimisation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience delivering measurable improvement outcomes.
  • Knowledge of risk, compliance, and regulatory environments.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated industries is desirable.
  • Qualifications in business/operations; Lean/Six Sigma preferred or willingness to obtain.
