TL;DR

Business Development Professional (Cleantech): Leading engagements with cleantech and energy technology partners to scale virtual power plants with an accent on identifying opportunities and translating insights into action. Focus on originating new partnerships in EV charging, energy storage, smart buildings, and connected devices.

What you will do

  • Proactively identify partnership opportunities with cleantech and energy technology providers.
  • Translate market insights into actionable strategies to accelerate growth.
  • Develop compelling sales tools and presentations to onboard new partners onto Leap’s platform.
  • Work with leading and innovative climate tech companies across residential and commercial sectors.
  • Conduct rigorous data analysis to shape partnership strategy and drive results.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in consumer energy technology, demand response, utility energy efficiency programs, energy markets, or fintech.
  • Experience in lead generation, analytics, or data-centric roles.
  • Self-directed and highly organized, able to manage time, priorities, and processes independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and a strong analytical foundation.
  • Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
  • Experience working in remote or hybrid environments across time zones.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
