What you will do
- Build, manage, and close a pipeline of new business opportunities for dbt Cloud in Japan.
- Manage and deepen the dbt Cloud footprint within existing accounts.
- Engage with technology partners and ecosystem service providers to maximize regional impact.
- Lead and contribute to team projects focused on developing the sales process.
- Collaborate with product teams to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.
- Focus on pipeline generation and management.
Requirements
- 4+ years of closing experience in technology sales with a proven track record of exceeding annual targets.
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and conduct consultative sales.
- Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills with stakeholders up to CTO level.
- Diligence and organizational skills for long, intricate sales cycles involving multiple client teams.
- Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment.
- Experience with SQL or willingness to learn.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, and/or open-sourced software.
- Knowledge of or prior experience with dbt.
