What you will do
- Lead the development and growth of strategic new business opportunities and private fundraising for Economic Recovery & Development (ERD) and climate programs.
- Influence and guide strategic private-sector engagement, developing business development strategies and donor engagement plans.
- Provide high-level advisory input to Global Practice Leads and fundraising teams, maintaining a portfolio of key priority areas.
- Support proposal development processes, providing technical expertise and strategy support for ERD and other priority areas.
- Develop and operationalize standard cross-functional workflows to increase funding and advance private-sector partnerships.
- Engage across the duration of strategic grants, ensuring donor requirements are met and designing long-term engagement strategies.
Requirements
- 6-7 years of related work experience in programs, fundraising, and/or advocacy, preferably with a large International Non-Governmental Organization.
- Experience with global Economic Recovery & Development (ERD) and climate programming in low-resource settings.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate ERD programming and strategy to diverse audiences.
- Experience in strategic partnership development, program design and development, fundraising and communications channels.
- Outstanding communication, relationship management, writing, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in international development, social work, or other relevant area, or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Spanish, French, or Arabic.
- International experience across diverse contexts; working with global, cross-cultural teams.
- Master’s degree in a related field.
