What you will do

  • Develop with object-oriented programming languages like C++ and Java for Maritime Anti-Submarine Warfare systems.
  • Apply proper coding practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Perform Linux-based operating systems and code development.
  • Contribute to the integration and testing of systems and test tools.
  • Support the development and selection of key technologies for the Navy.
  • Work with complex software algorithms and digital signal processing hardware.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a US Government security clearance.
  • Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language such as C++ or Java.
  • Experience with Linux-based operating systems and code development.
  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic.

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of third-party tools for code coverage, memory leaks, and other code integrity checks.
  • Knowledge or understanding of Qt programming.
