What you will do

  • Build, operate, and maintain critical distributed telemetry systems
  • Optimize efficiency and resilience for large-volume data processing and storage
  • Collaborate with squad members on feature delivery, design documents, and code reviews
  • Participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotations for system reliability
  • Iterate on services based on production feedback and performance metrics
  • Contribute to open-source projects and engage in cross-squad technical initiatives

Requirements

  • Experience with at least one programming language (Go preferred, or Python, C, C++, Rust)
  • Experience delivering projects within a larger team, from requirements gathering to shipping
  • Background in systems engineering or delivering software in the Cloud
  • Familiarity with observability systems and debugging using metrics, logs, or traces
  • Understanding of the DevOps model and experience with on-call responsibilities
  • Must be located in Spain, Germany, Ireland, the UK, or Sweden

Nice to have

  • Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure as code
  • Knowledge of queue systems like Kafka
  • Hands-on experience with Grafana and Prometheus in operational roles
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems
  • Experience using LLMs for daily coding tasks
