What you will do
- Build, operate, and maintain critical distributed telemetry systems
- Optimize efficiency and resilience for large-volume data processing and storage
- Collaborate with squad members on feature delivery, design documents, and code reviews
- Participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotations for system reliability
- Iterate on services based on production feedback and performance metrics
- Contribute to open-source projects and engage in cross-squad technical initiatives
Requirements
- Experience with at least one programming language (Go preferred, or Python, C, C++, Rust)
- Experience delivering projects within a larger team, from requirements gathering to shipping
- Background in systems engineering or delivering software in the Cloud
- Familiarity with observability systems and debugging using metrics, logs, or traces
- Understanding of the DevOps model and experience with on-call responsibilities
- Must be located in Spain, Germany, Ireland, the UK, or Sweden
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure as code
- Knowledge of queue systems like Kafka
- Hands-on experience with Grafana and Prometheus in operational roles
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience using LLMs for daily coding tasks
