What you will do

  • Manage core HR operations including employment contracts and HRIS (Personio) data maintenance.
  • Serve as the primary expert on Austrian labor law and ensure company-wide compliance.
  • Coordinate payroll with external providers to ensure accurate and timely compensation.
  • Analyze people metrics and develop reports to support data-driven business decisions.
  • Oversee operational onboarding and offboarding procedures for all employees.
  • Identify and implement automation strategies to improve HR process efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in HR operations or people ops, preferably in a tech scaleup.
  • Deep expertise in Austrian labor law and compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in HRIS platforms and operational toolsets.
  • Detail-oriented approach with the ability to communicate sensitive info clearly and kindly.
  • Valid right to work in the EU or Austria.
  • Proactive mindset for identifying process gaps and implementing solutions.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with Personio.
  • Knowledge of visa processes and employee relocation management.
  • Background in HR process automation workflows.
  • Conversational level of German or higher.
