What you will do
- Manage core HR operations including employment contracts and HRIS (Personio) data maintenance.
- Serve as the primary expert on Austrian labor law and ensure company-wide compliance.
- Coordinate payroll with external providers to ensure accurate and timely compensation.
- Analyze people metrics and develop reports to support data-driven business decisions.
- Oversee operational onboarding and offboarding procedures for all employees.
- Identify and implement automation strategies to improve HR process efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in HR operations or people ops, preferably in a tech scaleup.
- Deep expertise in Austrian labor law and compliance.
- Strong proficiency in HRIS platforms and operational toolsets.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to communicate sensitive info clearly and kindly.
- Valid right to work in the EU or Austria.
- Proactive mindset for identifying process gaps and implementing solutions.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Personio.
- Knowledge of visa processes and employee relocation management.
- Background in HR process automation workflows.
- Conversational level of German or higher.
