What you will do

  • Architect and implement improvements to the codebase that enable AI agents to operate safely and efficiently.
  • Orchestrate AI agents to develop full-stack features from UX to database with minimal human oversight.
  • Design technical guardrails and feedback loops to maximize AI agent productivity and system reliability.
  • Drive asynchronous decision-making and documentation using AI assistance.
  • Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional partners to shape the product roadmap.
  • Build and optimize distributed systems within a low-process, high-autonomy environment.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Uruguay and willing to engage as an independent contractor.
  • Proven ability to direct AI agents and automated workflows to build and maintain complex software.
  • Expertise in designing automated feedback loops and technical guardrails for AI agents.
  • Experience with or strong willingness to master distributed system development in Scala.
  • Strong product thinking and ability to deep dive into complex, unknown codebases to deliver fast results.
  • Excellent collaborative skills for working in a distributed, high-trust team environment.
