What you will do
- Design industrial automation and control systems from the concept stage.
- Develop control system design specifications in collaboration with clients and project teams.
- Select and manage automation contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and validate vendor and system integrator design documentation.
- Conduct control system hardware and software Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Provide on-site support during installation, commissioning, and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
Requirements
- Must have 8+ years of experience in automation engineering for industrial systems.
- Degree or technical apprenticeship in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation.
- Expertise in industrial control systems such as PLC and DCS.
- Proven ability to read and interpret panel drawings and P&ID diagrams.
- Professional working proficiency in both English and German is required.
- Ability to travel occasionally as needed for project requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience in the Life Sciences, Pharma, Biotech, or Food/Dairy industries.
- Knowledge of instrumentation interfaces, I/O lists, and signal loops.
