What you will do

  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, increasing deal size throughout the sales process.
  • Identify and drive commercial opportunities by leveraging relationships.
  • Provide technical expertise in response to RFPs.
  • Enable colleagues on discovery, metrics, and success criteria.
  • Guide and scope Proof of Value (POV) engagements to maximize value and minimize competitor threats.
  • Contribute to technical initiatives, mentor peers, and add to knowledge bases.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a software sales engineering role; experience in cybersecurity is preferred.
  • Strong competitor knowledge and excellent skills at de-positioning.
  • Strong knowledge in both on-premises and cloud networking and technologies.
  • Advanced used of MEDDPPIC.
  • Deeply understand customer pain, from real-world experience or long-term customer experience.
  • Master’s or bachelor’s from an accredited university.
