What you will do
- Administer and maintain Linux and Windows servers across on-prem and GCP environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot network equipment, including switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Design and test backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code practices and automate repetitive operational tasks.
- Monitor system performance and availability while acting as a technical escalation point for the IT team.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and runbooks.
Requirements
- Around 5 years of experience in system and/or network administration with production ownership.
- Strong command of Linux server administration.
- Expertise in networking protocols and configuration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
- Proficiency in English as it is the company's working language.
- Availability to participate in a shared on-call rotation.
- Ability to operate independently and drive projects to completion.
Nice to have
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Scripting skills in Python or Bash.
- Knowledge of French.
