What you will do
- Draft and negotiate contracts with customers and vendors in German and English.
- Assist with legal matters focusing on contract law, IT law, data protection law, and IT/IP law.
- Support Legal Counsels and various teams, working cross-functionally.
- Support GDPR compliance by ensuring necessary documentation and processes are followed.
- Conduct independent legal research on new laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Requirements
- Enrolled law student at a German University reading German law with focus studies and genuine interest in start ups and technology.
- Basic knowledge of privacy/data protection and/or contract law.
- Strong administration skills, detail-oriented, and a fast learner with good communication skills.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Nice to have
- Previous experience as a working student or intern in a legal department and/or start up is considered a plus.
