What you will do
- Develop and own the hybrid infrastructure strategy balancing on-prem bare metal and public cloud agility.
- Provide architectural oversight ensuring scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
- Lead and grow a team of DevOps and SRE engineers fostering accountability and continuous learning.
- Drive automation initiatives to achieve a "No-Ops" environment.
- Manage vendor relationships and capacity planning for hardware and data centers.
- Ensure infrastructure security and compliance with modern standards.
Requirements
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to Spain.
- Strong Linux internals and server management knowledge.
- Deep understanding of networking principles including L2/L3, BGP, and load balancing.
- Experience with Kubernetes architecture on bare metal and managed cloud services.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with CNCF tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
