What you will do

  • Oversee end-to-end customer billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform hands-on complex invoicing, adjustments, and reconciliations.
  • Manage subscription lifecycle events like activations, renewals, and upgrades.
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition inputs with the Financial controls team.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce and Chargebee systems.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a billing team, ensuring consistent execution.

Requirements

  • 7–8 years of experience in Billing, Revenue Operations, or Finance Operations.
  • Proven experience managing or leading a billing team.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce and Chargebee (or similar subscription billing platforms).
  • Demonstrated experience handling enterprise-level customers and complex billing structures.
  • Relevant qualification: CA/CPA or equivalent accounting degree.
  • Deep understanding of subscription billing models, usage-based billing, and contract-driven billing.
  • Must be based onsite in Melbourne, Australia.
