Heroku is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for their Demo Team to create visually engaging and innovative demos for Salesforce events.
What you will do
- Partner closely with product marketers, demo architects, and designers to understand product strategy.
- Develop innovative and compelling demonstrations showcasing the power of Salesforce.
- Ideate and build prototypes for important Salesforce product launches.
- Own the architecture of software prototypes and physical experiences for major Salesforce keynotes.
- Keep current with technology trends and incorporate emerging technology into keynotes.
Requirements
- B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical & Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years industry experience.
- Experience leading teams and mentoring junior developers.
- Expertise in front-end development (HTML, CSS, Javascript).
- Experience with modern Javascript technologies such as Angular, React, Vue, Node etc.
- Familiarity with tools such as Git, Heroku, and AWS.
Nice to have
- Experience developing for web-based and native mobile devices.
- Ability to turn high fidelity designs into functional prototypes using HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Javascript.
- Experience developing on the Salesforce platform (Aura, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Administration etc.).
- Experience with Salesforce unit testing and package management.
