What you will do

  • Lead the accounting close process for all EMEA entities, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements and US GAAP.
  • Oversee regional financial reporting and coordinate with external auditors across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Hire, develop, and manage a growing EMEA accounting team to foster ownership and operational excellence.
  • Partner with global teams on finance transformation, including process improvements, system implementations, and automation.
  • Assess accounting implications of new product launches and business changes within the EMEA market.
  • Support M&A integration activities, including policy alignment, systems onboarding, and opening balance sheet validation.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant leadership in EMEA.
  • Recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) required.
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and local statutory reporting requirements.
  • Strong experience in internal controls and tax compliance (e.g., VAT/GST).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams across multiple geographies and lead complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Must be able to work from the office in Luxembourg.
