What you will do

  • Work with clients, client operations, and development staff to acquire, assemble, and prepare datasets for analytic projects.
  • Conduct analysis and derive insights from unexpected findings to maximize the research value of each project.
  • Participate in data exploration and conceptual design for strategic initiatives.
  • Work with the Data Scientist and Product Engineer to define and document methodologies based on insights from data analysis.
  • Work with TPMs and the product team to implement methodologies developed and assist with documentation.
  • Share and teach methodologies and approaches with other clients, using presentations and informal discussions, and provide mentoring and training to peers.

Requirements

  • 0 or more years of applicable experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Be adaptive and change priorities quickly; meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to operate computer programs and software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences in person and in electronic formats.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative business environment in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions.

Nice to have

  • Coursework around Statistics, Machine Learning.
  • Proficient in Python.
  • Healthcare data analytics experience.
  • Major healthcare datasets (EHR, claims or billing data).
  • Expertise in relational databases.
  • Rising junior or senior in Bachelor’s degree program; MBA.
