What you will do
- Support scientific evaluations of hybrid decarbonization technologies and strategies including BECCS, BiCRS, and biochar.
- Perform technical and operational due diligence on decarbonization projects assessing feasibility, risks, and impact.
- Conduct life cycle assessments to evaluate environmental performance and carbon accounting.
- Apply expertise in sustainable biomass sourcing and supply chain considerations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate scientific insights into client strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations communicating findings to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in the United States or able to work remotely within the US
- Proven experience in scientific research and assessments in decarbonization.
- Strong knowledge of decarbonization technologies including BECCS and biochar.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex scientific concepts.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Project management skills and experience in consulting or advisory roles preferred.
