What you will do

  • Collaborate with sales and account teams to increase awareness and volume of MICE opportunities.
  • Manage mid-scale MICE projects and moderate-yielding opportunities for SMB and mid-size accounts globally.
  • Prepare and manage RFPs, proposals, negotiations, and contract sign-offs including site inspections.
  • Handle client communications and support sales discovery conversations.
  • Maintain proactive client relationships and identify future opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based within commuting distance of TravelPerk hubs in the US (Chicago, Illinois).
  • 1-3+ years of experience in MICE or meetings & events within travel management or corporate travel agency.
  • Strong knowledge of global venue and event destinations, especially North America.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with clients and suppliers.
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Professional telephone manner and collaborative team player attitude.

Nice to have

  • Experience with MICE booking tools such as Cvent.
  • Solid knowledge of event venues and hotels worldwide.
