What you will do
- Collaborate with sales and account teams to increase awareness and volume of MICE opportunities.
- Manage mid-scale MICE projects and moderate-yielding opportunities for SMB and mid-size accounts globally.
- Prepare and manage RFPs, proposals, negotiations, and contract sign-offs including site inspections.
- Handle client communications and support sales discovery conversations.
- Maintain proactive client relationships and identify future opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based within commuting distance of TravelPerk hubs in the US (Chicago, Illinois).
- 1-3+ years of experience in MICE or meetings & events within travel management or corporate travel agency.
- Strong knowledge of global venue and event destinations, especially North America.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with clients and suppliers.
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Professional telephone manner and collaborative team player attitude.

- Experience with MICE booking tools such as Cvent.
- Solid knowledge of event venues and hotels worldwide.
