Director of Product, Cloud (AdTech): Defining and leading the strategy and roadmap for a new ad tech-focused cloud infrastructure designed to optimize advertising efficiency, privacy, and scale. Focus on building a cost-effective, high-performance, and extensible platform that supports privacy-first advertising, AI-based optimization, and future-ready transaction models.

Location: Hybrid in Toronto (8 Spadina Ave). Willing to relocate to Toronto or New York. Office days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

What you will do

  • Deliver on the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Index’s cloud and containerization platform.
  • Drive product development for our containerized compute environment, enabling partners to run their decisioning logic directly within Index’s infrastructure at the edge.
  • Work hands-on with Engineering to define technical requirements, make architecture trade-offs, and ship iteratively.
  • Engage directly with platform partners to understand their technical requirements and shape the product accordingly.
  • Collaborate across functions, including Engineering, TechOps, Product Marketing, and Commercial teams.
  • Define success metrics, instrumentation, and feedback loops to measure what’s working and iterate quickly.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent on cloud infrastructure, platform, or developer-facing products.
  • Track record of taking a product from early stage through to scale.
  • Experience in a high-autonomy environment.
  • Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Akamai/Linode, or similar) and a working understanding of containerization, Kubernetes, edge computing, and distributed systems.
  • Preferably based in or willing to relocate to Toronto or New York.
  • Flexibility for occasional travel.
