What you will do
- Conduct manual testing to identify bugs and areas for improvement.
- Implement and complete regression testing procedures to verify the stability and performance of game builds.
- Document, track, and prioritize defects using bug tracking systems, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution and validation of reported issues.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites and frameworks to ensure efficient and effective testing coverage.
- Design, complete, and analyze performance tests to identify bottlenecks, optimize game performance, supervise health, and enhance overall player experience.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to communicate testing progress, findings, and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong sports knowledge.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, or Python.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and guidelines.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as Unity Test Framework, Unreal Automation System, or Selenium.
- Knowledge of engines involved in crafting games (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) and related tools.
