What you will do

  • Set up and maintain CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions.
  • Configure and operate monitoring and alerting systems like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
  • Administer MySQL clusters, focusing on replication, backups, and optimization.
  • Manage Kafka infrastructure including topics, monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible playbooks.
  • Maintain VPN and proxy servers to ensure secure and stable network connectivity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
  • Strong background in administering MySQL and operating Kafka.
  • Practical skills in writing Ansible playbooks and containerization with Docker.
  • Server administration experience with Linux and macOS.
  • Experience managing distributed infrastructures and high-availability systems.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid mode in Limassol, Cyprus.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Familiarity with distributed tracing tools like Jaeger or OpenTelemetry.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL or Redis administration.
  • Experience with advanced deployment strategies such as blue-green or canary releases.
