What you will do

  • Design and drive the development of new activity, safety, and health features for global users.
  • Own the full lifecycle of ML/AI features from initial prototyping to production deployment.
  • Build scalable and resilient algorithms that behave reliably in live environments using large real-world datasets.
  • Utilize modern AI engineering tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and Model Context Protocol to accelerate development.
  • Coach teammates and help establish engineering best practices within the Data team.
  • Maintain high code quality through thoughtful reviews, testing, and a long-term architectural mindset.

Requirements

  • Valid Austrian work permit required.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in an ML/AI or Data Science role.
  • Proven track record of shipping and maintaining ML solutions in production environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience in stacks like pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
  • Fluent English proficiency.

Nice to have

  • Experience with MLflow and operationalizing models at scale.
  • Curiosity about the fast-moving AI and agent ecosystem.
