What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services.
  • Implement high-performance, reliable, and secure APIs to support core marketplace functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the customer journey.
  • Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
  • Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity across services.
  • Integrate external services and continuously improve existing solutions with scalability, maintainability, and business goals in mind.

Requirements

  • Strong background in backend development with PHP, preferably using Symfony.
  • Hands-on experience with MySQL and designing efficient data models.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, Kafka, caching mechanisms, and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with payment systems, PSP integrations, or transaction-heavy platforms is a strong advantage.
  • Upper-intermediate English or higher for daily communication.
