What you will do
- Lead the fintech engineering team in designing and scaling wallet infrastructure.
- Integrate wallet systems with regional banks and PSPs via APIs.
- Collaborate on connecting wallets with the General Ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinate with Compliance and Treasury teams to ensure adherence to local financial regulations.
- Manage team operations including stand-ups, planning, and backlog grooming.
- Maintain technical hands-on involvement while mentoring engineers and driving cross-functional alignment.
Requirements
- Based in EMEA with high availability for global collaboration.
- Proven experience as a Team Lead or Manager within the payments, banking, or accounting sector.
- Strong background in Fintech, specifically regarding wallets, flows of funds, and compliance.
- Proficiency in Node.js and PostgreSQL with Sequelize.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and API-driven banking integrations.
