TL;DR

QA Automation Engineer: Develop and maintain automated tests for a core media backend service focused on telephony audio processing with an accent on API testing, audio/video quality, and network protocols. What you will do

  • Analyze requirements, develop testing strategies, and design test cases.
  • Write and run automated tests for API and audio/video quality integration.
  • Document defects and verify fixes throughout the release cycle.
  • Deploy, update, and maintain test environments and frameworks.
  • Collaborate in an Agile team to improve development and testing processes.
  • Engage in continuous integration development and test result analysis.

Requirements

  • On-site presence required 4 days a week for effective collaboration.
  • 5+ years of experience in backend testing and automation.
  • Understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of TCP, UDP, HTTP protocols and Linux environment.
  • English language level at least Intermediate (B2).

Nice to have

  • Experience with VoIP protocols (SIP, SDP).
  • Experience with WebRTC (SIP, SDP, RTP, RTCP).
  • Network traffic analysis tools like Wireshark and tcpdump.
  • Experience testing multimedia systems.
  • Automation experience with Javascript/Typescript and NodeJS.
