What you will do
- Drive architectural innovation in tin management from concept to prototype.
- Lead and execute experimental campaigns on research source test rigs and analyze test results.
- Initiate and develop scientific models, computational simulations, AI, and data solutions.
- Contribute to source technology roadmap and project planning.
- Document learning and communicate knowledge to engineering and product development teams.
- Work independently and in teams to deliver on stated objectives.
Requirements
- PhD degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in physics or engineering.
- Hands-on experience with complex system design and build, experimentation, characterization, and troubleshooting.
- Practical experience with instrumentation and metrology development, and extensive experience with experiment control, data analysis and data acquisition systems such as NI Labview.
- Strong programming skills such as Python, C/C++, and Matlab.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a part of a team and lead investigation and research efforts.
- Deep understanding of scientific research methods and strong curiosity.
