What you will do

  • Own and optimize the ClearScore Marketplace experience in South Africa, guiding users towards better financial decisions.
  • Set the product direction, ensuring alignment with both overall product and business strategies.
  • Partner with global teams to influence the roadmap, represent South African market needs, and launch new Marketplace features.
  • Work closely with local marketing and commercial teams to ensure coherent go-to-market plans.
  • Develop hypotheses, run experiments, and analyze data (with analytics support) to increase value and impact.
  • Lead collaboration between engineering, design, marketing, commercial, and global stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience growing mass-market consumer products, with preferable experience in Marketplace optimization.
  • Comfortable operating as a highly autonomous individual contributor, owning a market end-to-end.
  • Experience leading product marketing efforts, translating product capabilities into clear positioning and go-to-market plans.
  • Ability to develop a deep understanding of your market, users, partners, and product’s problem space using qualitative and quantitative techniques.
  • Structured approach to tackling ambiguous problems, utilizing successful industry patterns.
  • Comfortable working closely with external partners, incorporating their needs and concerns.
