What you will do
- Operate and support enterprise compute platforms across hardware, OS, and container layers.
- Deploy bare metal infrastructure and maintain OpenStack and Kubernetes environments.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure patching, upgrades, and testing.
- Troubleshoot complex issues spanning hardware, virtualization, and distributed systems.
- Manage system capacity, performance, and reliability based on defined SLAs.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a DevOps or SRE focusing on compute platforms.
- Expertise in Kubernetes and production-grade private cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with bare metal management, PXE boot, and Redfish APIs.
- Strong Linux (Ubuntu) administration skills.
- Proficiency with Python, Bash, and IaC tools (Terraform/Ansible).
- Must be based in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience with Harvester HCI or Cisco UCS/Dell PowerEdge hardware.
- Knowledge of CIS/NIST security standards.
- CKA or CKS certifications.
