Bohemia Interactive is looking for a Technical Designer to reinforce their Vehicles and Damage task force for Arma 4.
What you will do
- Implement, maintain, and improve game systems related to vehicles and damage.
- Write technical design documents and iterate based on feedback.
- Collaborate with programming, animation, art, and audio departments to create ambitious features.
- Research real-world military and engineering concepts to enrich feature development.
- Innovate the technical architecture of features.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience or modding equivalent.
- Ability to write script (C# adjacent) with an eye on modability, readability, and performance.
- Experience with writing design documentation for features with player UX in mind.
- Strong English speaking/writing ability
Nice to have
- Strong experience with one or more existing Arma titles.
- Published mods or scenarios for existing Arma titles.
- Experience with using versioning systems.
- Real-life experience with vehicles.
