Bohemia Interactive is looking for a Technical Designer to reinforce their Vehicles and Damage task force for Arma 4.

What you will do

  • Implement, maintain, and improve game systems related to vehicles and damage.
  • Write technical design documents and iterate based on feedback.
  • Collaborate with programming, animation, art, and audio departments to create ambitious features.
  • Research real-world military and engineering concepts to enrich feature development.
  • Innovate the technical architecture of features.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience or modding equivalent.
  • Ability to write script (C# adjacent) with an eye on modability, readability, and performance.
  • Experience with writing design documentation for features with player UX in mind.
  • Strong English speaking/writing ability

Nice to have

  • Strong experience with one or more existing Arma titles.
  • Published mods or scenarios for existing Arma titles.
  • Experience with using versioning systems.
  • Real-life experience with vehicles.
