What you will do

  • Build and launch features that delight millions of players daily.
  • Write clean, performant, and maintainable Roblox Lua code.
  • Partner closely with designers, artists, and producers to craft compelling gameplay experiences.
  • Debug, optimize, and improve live game systems.
  • Elevate the technical quality and performance of our games.
  • Playtest regularly and provide thoughtful design and product feedback.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in CS fundamentals and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with game engines, scripting languages, version control.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.
  • 1+ years of Roblox development experience.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent development experience
  • Experience working in game teams
  • Shipped games or features on Roblox or similar platforms
  • Game jam or modding experience
  • Familiarity with live game systems (analytics, economy tuning, balancing)
  • 2+ years professional software development experience
