What you will do

  • Guide, motivate, and grow a team of software developers solving complex problems in the Invoicing domain.
  • Align with Product teams, engineering leadership, and stakeholders on priorities and roadmaps.
  • Identify, communicate, and remove impediments and risks to delivery.
  • Plan professional growth for individual team members, including 1-1s, performance reviews, and goal-setting.
  • Find and hire top talent for your team and the wider organization.
  • Provide technical and process guidance to the team during delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience leading a team of developers through successful software product delivery.
  • Experience delivering microservice-driven, scalable, cloud-based applications.
  • Professional experience in agile development and continuous delivery best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills and fluency in English as a working language.
  • Ability to personally coach, mentor, and drive individuals and overall teams.
  • Must be located in Canada and able to work within EST/EDT hours.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the Invoicing, Ledger, Account Receivable, and/or E-commerce domains.
  • Experience in building scalable SaaS solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of cloud services (GCP in particular).
  • Experience in test automation and/or DevOps engineering.
