What you will do
- Guide, motivate, and grow a team of software developers solving complex problems in the Invoicing domain.
- Align with Product teams, engineering leadership, and stakeholders on priorities and roadmaps.
- Identify, communicate, and remove impediments and risks to delivery.
- Plan professional growth for individual team members, including 1-1s, performance reviews, and goal-setting.
- Find and hire top talent for your team and the wider organization.
- Provide technical and process guidance to the team during delivery.
Requirements
- Experience leading a team of developers through successful software product delivery.
- Experience delivering microservice-driven, scalable, cloud-based applications.
- Professional experience in agile development and continuous delivery best practices.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills and fluency in English as a working language.
- Ability to personally coach, mentor, and drive individuals and overall teams.
- Must be located in Canada and able to work within EST/EDT hours.
Nice to have
- Experience in the Invoicing, Ledger, Account Receivable, and/or E-commerce domains.
- Experience in building scalable SaaS solutions.
- Solid knowledge of cloud services (GCP in particular).
- Experience in test automation and/or DevOps engineering.
