What you will do
- Lead and coach a team of mobile engineers, ensuring high standards for performance and code quality.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to shape and execute the mobile product roadmap.
- Manage team performance, professional development, and hiring processes as the function scales.
- Own mobile app reliability, release cycles, and overall architectural integrity.
- Ensure mobile experiences are secure, intuitive, and aligned with cross-platform consistency.
- Foster a culture of craftsmanship, technical excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in engineering management including coaching and performance reviews.
- 5+ years of hands-on mobile development experience with a focus on Flutter or Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Deep understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
- Experience scaling production-grade applications used by large user bases.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, mobile observability, and app store release workflows.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to translate technical trade-offs.
Nice to have
- Native development fundamentals in Kotlin and Swift.
- Experience with mobile security practices and PCI compliance standards.
- Proven track record of managing mobile analytics and error reporting tools.
