Engineering Manager (Cybersecurity): Leading and growing a backend engineering team within the Cloud Security Product Group with an accent on cloud-native security architecture and large-scale distributed systems. Location: Must be based in Tel Aviv, Israel, and able to work on-site at least 3 days per week.

What you will do

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a backend engineering team while driving product vision and roadmap.
  • Drive technical direction and make architectural decisions for large-scale distributed systems.
  • Develop cloud-based solutions to detect targeted attacks and automate threat intelligence.
  • Balance hands-on technical contributions with people management responsibilities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define and build cloud security features.
  • Improve architecture, system performance, and stability within a fast-moving, startup-like group.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in backend and systems programming (Go, Python, NodeJS, Java, or C#).
  • 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-based architectures at scale.
  • Proficiency with container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a high-trust, autonomous environment.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in the cybersecurity or intelligence field.
  • Exposure to Go, Cassandra, Redis, Kafka, or Elasticsearch.
