What you will do
- Lead product ownership for specific Platform domains (e.g., Login with YouVersion, Partner onboarding, SDK features, entitlement flows, developer tooling).
- Translate high-level strategy into clear, actionable requirements and user journeys.
- Create and maintain detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) with emphasis on user flows, edge cases, data exchange implications, and long-term scalability.
- Design solutions that balance developer experience (DX), partner requirements, end-user simplicity, and licensing and publisher expectations.
- Collaborate closely with API, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams, understanding technical tradeoffs.
- Define key activity metrics for your product area (adoption, API usage, login conversion, entitlement checks) and partner with Analytics.
Requirements
- 3+ years of related work experience in product management, business analytics, or software portfolio management.
- Experience working with engineering teams on API-driven or technical products.
- Strong ability to translate ambiguity into structured user journeys and documentation.
- Ability to think in systems (identity, data flow, permissions, user types).
- Comfort working across multiple stakeholders (Engineering, Analytics, Legal, Licensing, Partner teams).
- Experience with OAuth2, authentication systems, or SDK ecosystems.
