What you will do

  • Lead product ownership for specific Platform domains (e.g., Login with YouVersion, Partner onboarding, SDK features, entitlement flows, developer tooling).
  • Translate high-level strategy into clear, actionable requirements and user journeys.
  • Create and maintain detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) with emphasis on user flows, edge cases, data exchange implications, and long-term scalability.
  • Design solutions that balance developer experience (DX), partner requirements, end-user simplicity, and licensing and publisher expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with API, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams, understanding technical tradeoffs.
  • Define key activity metrics for your product area (adoption, API usage, login conversion, entitlement checks) and partner with Analytics.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related work experience in product management, business analytics, or software portfolio management.
  • Experience working with engineering teams on API-driven or technical products.
  • Strong ability to translate ambiguity into structured user journeys and documentation.
  • Ability to think in systems (identity, data flow, permissions, user types).
  • Comfort working across multiple stakeholders (Engineering, Analytics, Legal, Licensing, Partner teams).
  • Experience with OAuth2, authentication systems, or SDK ecosystems.
