Location: Onsite in Maidenhead, UK. Must be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.

What you will do

  • Maintain visibility of upcoming bids, contribute to proposals and costings, and review technical proposals for deliverability.
  • Define and assure appropriate engineering design processes for projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and contractual requirements.
  • Chair Engineering Design Reviews, acting as a gatekeeper for technical risk and debt.
  • Oversee the management of technical risks, and review project engineering metrics and documentation quality.
  • Provide Design Assurance and act as a primary point of contact for engineering aspects with customers and stakeholders.
  • Progress security concerns and act as a Security Adviser to projects, ensuring adherence to Security Aspects Letters (SAL).

Requirements

  • Degree in an engineering, mathematical, or science-based subject, or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in one or more of software, firmware, hardware, or systems engineering.
  • Expert knowledge of the V-model and best practice engineering processes.
  • Extensive experience in technical leadership and managing the delivery of multi-disciplined engineering projects.
  • Candidates must be willing and able to obtain, and maintain, DV security clearance.
  • Must be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.
