What you will do

  • Support and evolve platform technologies for EMEA engineering teams.
  • Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure on GCP for reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Enhance developer experience through self-service tooling and workflow automation.
  • Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Partner with regional engineering and operations teams to drive platform improvements and mentorship.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a software or platform engineer in a product-led environment.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern language like Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • Strong experience designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on GCP.
  • Expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments.
  • Practical experience with Terraform and building reusable infrastructure modules.
  • Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and cloud security controls.
  • Must be based in London or able to commute to the Old Street office 3 days a week.

Nice to have

  • Experience with data platforms or machine learning infrastructure (e.g., BigQuery, Vertex AI).
  • Experience building self-service infrastructure provisioning workflows.
