What you will do
- Establish and lead the internal audit function, defining the operating model, methodology, and infrastructure.
- Conduct semi-annual enterprise-wide risk assessments to build and maintain a dynamic, risk-based audit plan.
- Oversee audit engagements across operational, financial, technology, product, and compliance domains.
- Provide insightful reporting to the Audit Committee and senior management regarding risk exposures and control weaknesses.
- Embed data analytics into audit planning and execution to enhance assurance coverage and thematic insights.
- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders and oversee co-sourced or outsourced audit providers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in internal audit, risk management, or operational control.
- Strong understanding of regulatory expectations of the Central Bank of the UAE.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Relevant professional certification (CIA, CRMA, CISA, or CFE) is advantageous.
