What you will do

  • Establish and lead the internal audit function, defining the operating model, methodology, and infrastructure.
  • Conduct semi-annual enterprise-wide risk assessments to build and maintain a dynamic, risk-based audit plan.
  • Oversee audit engagements across operational, financial, technology, product, and compliance domains.
  • Provide insightful reporting to the Audit Committee and senior management regarding risk exposures and control weaknesses.
  • Embed data analytics into audit planning and execution to enhance assurance coverage and thematic insights.
  • Manage relationships with senior stakeholders and oversee co-sourced or outsourced audit providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in internal audit, risk management, or operational control.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory expectations of the Central Bank of the UAE.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Relevant professional certification (CIA, CRMA, CISA, or CFE) is advantageous.
