What you will do

  • Map end-to-end data science approaches and design software architecture for projects
  • Drive technical scoping and feasibility assessments of new projects
  • Build strong client relationships as a technical advisor
  • Deliver bespoke algorithms and scalable software solutions for high-stakes decision-making
  • Set technical standards for project teams ensuring high code quality and delivery rigor
  • Contribute to thought leadership through teaching, public speaking, or open-source projects

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in or near London with willingness to work onsite occasionally
  • Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC) required
  • Proven experience in professional data science or quantitative academic roles with strong mathematical and statistical skills
  • Strong Python programming skills with proficiency in NumPy, Pandas, and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch)
  • Solid grasp of core data science techniques including supervised/unsupervised learning, time-series, NLP, and model validation
  • Exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical solutions for senior and non-technical audiences
