What you will do
- Document processes, create process flows, and maintain automation-related databases.
- Automate intra-day trade files and batch reports transfers, including monitoring and alerting.
- Set up new third-party vendor connections and automate requested processes or tests.
- Generate and maintain production, management, and billing reports.
- Participate in new clients’ environment setup, DR and failover testing, and server migrations.
- Investigate incidents escalated by Operations 24x7.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science or related field, or diploma with relevant experience.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in structured scripting languages
- Exceptional scripting skills (e.g., Bourne and Bash Shell Script, Perl, MySQL Queries and progress wrappers).
- Experience with electronic trading systems.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving qualities.
- Ability to work with customers and 3rd party vendors for implementations and resolving issues.
