What you will do

  • Oversee high-volume daily payment runs and manage prefund accounting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and provide quality control for bank reconciliations.
  • Lead internal and external audit requirements and design robust financial controls to prevent fraud.
  • Partner with IT to resolve system issues and champion automation for improved operational efficiency.
  • Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing team of accounting and fulfillment professionals.
  • Manage vendor relationships for payment processing and funding operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
  • Minimum 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP compliance and financial audit support.
  • Experience with ERP systems or accounting software, Oracle or NetSuite preferred.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Salt Lake City, UT.
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency and experience with financial systems.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ERP implementation or accounting system migration.
  • 2+ years experience managing third-party payment vendors.
