What you will do

  • Lead discovery for a specific trading domain (e.g., onboarding, order entry, charts, portfolio).
  • Frame problems and opportunities by synthesizing qualitative and quantitative signals and defining target segments.
  • Develop concepts, including narratives, flows, storyboards, and low-fidelity prototypes, while comparing trade-offs and risks.
  • Create concise and unambiguous design briefs with scope, hypotheses, acceptance criteria, and constraints.
  • Map user journeys and service blueprints to identify failure points and operational implications.
  • Plan and conduct lightweight tests with UX Researchers and Data teams to ensure evidence-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years in product discovery/service design for complex web & mobile products; finance/trading/brokerage experience is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to structure ambiguity and translate insights into clear, actionable briefs for delivery teams.
  • Comfortable with data and research, knowing when to use qualitative versus quantitative methods.
  • Mastery in facilitation for workshops, stakeholder interviews, and decision framing.
  • Working fluency in Figma for low-fidelity artifacts and prototypes, with strong documentation habits.
  • Excellent communication skills for crisp narratives and decision rationale tailored to various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with financial services and regulated contexts (compliance, risk, auditability).
  • English is required.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of trading specifics: order types, market data constraints, real-time UX, charting/analytics paradigms.
  • Exposure to experiment design (A/B, fake-door, concierge) and opportunity sizing.
  • Experience influencing a Design System via principles/pattern proposals without owning visual UI.
