What you will do
- Investigate, negotiate, and settle primary and excess policy cyber, privacy liability, and technology errors & omissions claims.
- Investigate and evaluate coverage for complex policies, make coverage determinations, and draft complex coverage correspondence.
- Manage litigation filed nationwide against insureds; appoint, direct, and manage defense counsel.
- Contribute to the implementation of initiatives, claims exposure reports, and action plans.
- Communicate with underwriting as needed to manage claims and alert of any significant developments.
- Analyze and convey summations of complex issues; recognize alternative approaches and develop action plans.
Requirements
- 5-10+ years of handling cyber and/or technology errors & omissions policies required. Excess liability claims experience a plus.
- College degree and/or professional designation required, JD preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Sound comprehension of insurance coverage posed by cyber and technology errors & omissions and excess liability policies.
- Ability to analyze and convey summations of complex issues both verbally and in writing; recognize alternative approaches and develop action plans.
