What you will do

  • Provide strategic and operational oversight for USG customer organizational assets, especially cybersecurity assets.
  • Manage hardware, software, and cloud asset lifecycles, ensuring compliance and optimization.
  • Integrate asset data into security operations, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage leading ITAM/EAM platforms and CMDB solutions.
  • Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to track KPIs and identify optimization opportunities.

Requirements

  • Clearance Level: Secret
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), with 3-5 years in a lead or managerial capacity.
  • Expert-level knowledge of ITAM principles, best practices (e.g., ITIL, ISO 19770), and methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST RMF, CSF).
  • One or more of the following certifications: Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM), Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM), ITIL Foundation or higher, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

Nice to have

  • Experience with ITAM/EAM for hybrid environments (mobile, multi-cloud, on-premise, data centers, IoT).
  • Familiarity with automation concepts and scripting for asset data collection and reconciliation.
