What you will do

  • Build 0-to-1 automations for internal teams, scoping solutions and shipping using agentic flow orchestrators or custom code.
  • Contribute to the backend codebase, writing production-grade code for automations that touch production systems.
  • Triage and prioritize the automation backlog, working with stakeholders across the company to scope requests and set expectations.
  • Deliver every automation with clear inputs/outputs, runbooks, error handling, and alerting.
  • Maintain the automation register, ensuring all live automations meet go-live checklist criteria.
  • Evaluate and deploy AI-powered solutions alongside traditional automation.

Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of experience building automations, internal tools, or backend systems in a professional setting.
  • Write code that's production-ready.
  • Have hands-on experience with at least one low-code platform such as n8n, Retool, or Zapier.
  • Be comfortable querying and working directly with production databases using SQL.
  • Have experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and stitching systems together.
  • Be able to prioritize across competing requests from multiple teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ML in production, particularly risk/fraud models.
  • Familiarity with Git workflows, code review processes, and CI/CD basics.
  • Background in fintech, payments, or regulated industries.
  • Experience building for non-technical stakeholders (compliance, finance, operations teams).
  • Exposure to process design or business operations.
