What you will do
- Manage daily data center operations to ensure continuous uptime and operational efficiency across all shifts.
- Lead and develop supervisors and operational staff in a 24/7 environment, overseeing staffing and scheduling.
- Oversee system performance monitoring, security controls, and compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with internal teams for testing, deployments, and incident resolution.
- Communicate operational status, risks, and improvements to leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements and capacity planning to support future operational needs.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or able to work in Madison, WI, USA (Hybrid work format).
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in 24/7 operational settings.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with production systems, incident management, compliance, and operational controls.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high availability, and regulated environments.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting lottery or similarly regulated environments.
- Technical knowledge of operating systems, monitoring tools, and diagnostic utilities.
