What you will do

  • Manage daily data center operations to ensure continuous uptime and operational efficiency across all shifts.
  • Lead and develop supervisors and operational staff in a 24/7 environment, overseeing staffing and scheduling.
  • Oversee system performance monitoring, security controls, and compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with internal teams for testing, deployments, and incident resolution.
  • Communicate operational status, risks, and improvements to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvements and capacity planning to support future operational needs.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in or able to work in Madison, WI, USA (Hybrid work format).
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams in 24/7 operational settings.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with production systems, incident management, compliance, and operational controls.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high availability, and regulated environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting lottery or similarly regulated environments.
  • Technical knowledge of operating systems, monitoring tools, and diagnostic utilities.
