What you will do

  • Analyse and segment existing and emerging markets to derive attractive target fields and growth hypotheses for the Innovation Lab.
  • Identify, approach, and qualify new leads and partners in prioritised segments, converting insights into scalable business opportunities.
  • Develop value propositions, including USPs, pricing logic, and business models for new applications and solution offerings.
  • Act as the commercial 'voice of the customer' in product definition, challenging and steering product design decisions with clear business rationale.
  • Co-lead the definition of the product concept and roadmap for the Innovation Lab, ensuring alignment between technical feasibility, market timing, and commercial potential.
  • Build and maintain a structured opportunity and account pipeline, supporting and increasingly leading commercial negotiations.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, industrial or electronics engineering or a comparable field; a combination of technical and business background is preferred.
  • Several years of experience in business development, technical sales, key account management, or strategic partnerships in an industrial or high‑tech environment, ideally in power electronics.
  • Strong understanding of technology‑driven innovation processes and ability to translate technical features into customer value.
  • Proven track record in building and managing long‑term B2B relationships, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and negotiation.
  • High degree of ownership, reliability, and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills.
  • English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
