What you will do

  • Lead and manage a small team, with hands-on coding in C for Redis database development.
  • Define technical roadmaps and make key architectural decisions.
  • Drive performance and reliability for massive scale systems.

  • Take full ownership of projects from concept to production.
  • Collaborate with various R&D teams and the open-source community.

Requirements

  • 4+ years developing production-grade systems, with strong hands-on C/Linux experience.
  • 2+ years leading engineering teams/projects to completion, including mentoring.
  • Expertise in low-level programming (C/C++/Rust), memory safety, concurrency, and performance optimizations.
  • Strategic thinking for roadmaps and architecture in Agile environments.
  • Excellent communication for distributed teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience with NoSQL databases.
  • OSS contributions or async IO networking.
  • Distributed applications experience.
